Marléna Johnson is an R&B/Pop artist from the whaling capital of the world, New Bedford, Massachusetts. With 15 years of performance experience, she is proud to release her first solo project “Come To Me”.

Marléna’s success began in her hometown, where she was crowned the first “New Bedford Idol” in 2009 followed by Miss New Bedford, 2012. She later went on to place 3rd-runner up at the Miss Massachusetts Pageant. In 2013, Marléna worked in London’s West End in the Michael Jackson tribute show, “Thriller Live”. Upon returning to the States in 2014, she was featured on American Idol – The Farewell Season, where she placed in the Top 75. 

The years 2016-2018, were turning points in Marlena’s career as she dealt with the loss of her mother and the loss of her second child. In 2019, she met producer and engineer, Jordan “Huntsyn” Fernandes who quickly inspired her to create her own music and sound. “Come To Me”, the debut single off of her EP was the first song she had ever written. 

Marléna’s musical influences include: Michael Jackson, Amy Winehouse and The Used.
